Jackie Chan Style Wall Jump

Is there a wall jump mutator out that allows you to jump off wall and go higher each time? I'm asking this cause I made one but I don't want to put it up for download and take credit for it if one already exists. It's pretty damn cool! It's like mario meets Jackie Chan ;) Changes game play considerably. Bots won't use it though...actually I don't think they ever use the ordinary wall jump. Still have to test it in multiplayer games also.

Ok cool. I thought more ppl would have replied so I would have been sure. Well I'm putting the final touches right now so hopefully by tomorrow I should have it up for downloading.

I was keeping it simple for now....very busy so I din take the time to figure out how to do it and what to use that would look cool. Most time is going into the mutator and playing Vice City ;).

I'm having a little problem with getting the player class to change using the mutator. I had the "mutator" working by changing the Default Player Class in the User.ini to my new player class....working on it right now...hope to figure it out soon. There is another way I can do it that I know will work but that would involve creating a whole new game type :rolleyes: Don't wanna go to that stage just yet ;)

I have given up on trying to make it work as a mutator :( . I have looked on the net for info on doing it and it seems that it is impossible. I will have to incorporate it into a new game type.

For now, if you want to see how it works, I have attached a zip file with this message. Just extract it to your UT2003 system directory. You will then have to open the user.ini file in the system directory and change "Class=Engine.Pawn" to "Class=MarioPak.MarioPawn". It should be right at the top of the file. Just start any game in UT and you should be able to multijump of walls. Remember to change back to "Class=Engine.Pawn" when you done testing or you will not be able to play multiplayer games.

I will hopefully be working on more stuff to make a cool new game type with the multi-wall jump as an added feature....I don't want to make a whole new game type just for the jump.
