Is there an easy way to take inventory?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

This is a continuation of a thread I started in the UT forum (link) and I'm now wondering if there is an easy way to carry my weapons over when starting a map manually.

For the sake of clarity, let me explain where I'm at: I'm stuck at the end of a map (due to a bug of unknown origin) and need to start the next level manually. I used the console to start the map with no problem, but the only way I've found to carry over the weapons I had on the previous map is to add each one manually with the SUMMON command. Is there a better way to do this?

switchcooplevel command?

Yeap, that's it. Thx! If memory serves... I'll need this again when I get to the level where I have to jump down the well (I can't remember which level that is right off hand). I remember having the same issue with that one.

I've always thought this black hole issue was my machine. I have the same problem with UT GOTY. It really surprised me when I transferred my .usa file to another machine and had the same issue. But now that I have a good workaround it's all good.

Thanks again!!!!!!

Just an update (I know you all are on the edges of your seats to know how I'm doing), I've found the best way to deal with the black hole issue is to switch the video drive from D3D to SRS to get past the area.

Oh, and it's actually Return to Na Pali - The Eldora Well where I had the same problem before. Again, I just switched the video driver over to SRS, jumped in the well, then switched back to D3D.

Hmm, those parts are actually WarpZones, so I guess your video card has troubles rendering them. Overall WarpZones are very picky and were never actually well optimised.
