Is there a how-to for co-op?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I look at the co-op option for unreal as being somethig to avoid, because I was hoping to play a two player co-op game using the normal single player storyline. Instead I see the maps in multiplayer as something you have to choose individually. How can I play unreal co-op the way I want to? (Like Quake2 co-op)

You are on doing things right. Just choose the map Vortex2 and when you finish, the same as in single player, the next map will automatically load like you want it to. The second player will need to connect to your system, depending on the method you use you will need to configure your computer for it. You didn't mention how so I assume you have that already working. If not just post here.
Good luck!!
