there is this ****ing bump on/in my neck, i noticed it about 2 days ago. its right above my adams apple on the right side, about the size of a bean or something. its pretty hard, but i can't really tell because pushing on it at all pushes it in. it doesn't cause any feeling except for when i touch it or stretch/squish the area. its not really pronounced, i can't feel it with my fingers at all when my neck is in some positions.

so, what could it possibly be?

I have no clue what it is, but since its on/in your neck I'd go see a doctor and get him to poke it.

swollen glands, usually a sign of infection, might be mono, could really be a lot of things, if it's not a swollen gland then you have some real serious problems, but I would bet it's your pituitary

Aren't swollent glands though caused by a cold or flu?

Best bet though would be to see a doctor. Not much any of us could really do unless we saw it.

Ha, my glands swell up whenever I so much as pretend to be sick. My brother had something like what you have there Bob, it was like an M&M in his neck. It eventually faded away, no problems whatsoever.

For Pete's sake, go see a doctor. Probably just a swollen lymph (sp?) gland. have you had any cuts, or infections in your mouth latley? Noticed any swelling right in front of your ears? Could also be a cyst, still no big deal... just make a darned appointment.

The game got old after you had seen all the new diseases in a level. The vomit attacks and mouse-hunting were great fun though.

Sounds like swollen glands ... but in any case with lumps & bumps it's always best to get them checked out to be sure.
