is the unreal editor on the UT cd?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

If you chose the default installation of UT then it's already on your hardrive. Look in the 'system' folder in your unreal tournament directory, the unreal editor is the 'UnrealEd.exe' file.

Either way you go, go out and search for VbRun6.zip or VbRun6.exe. This will help eliminate problems early on.

Ensure the following.

1) That you're installing the editor into the UnrealTournament folder and not the default C:\Unreal folder.

2) Make sure that VbRun6 is installed.

3) Add "-nodsound" (minus quotes) to the command line.

Those should help you get UnrealEd up and running.
