    At first, geo, fix the g(r)eyness in INF.

    Lemme suggest a "weapon". What about these phosphor sticks (green, or yellow, maybe both types), so you throw them and they light out the area.

    The whole reason for inventing nightvision goggles was so you wouldn't have to use those things or flashlights. They give away your position and therefore not tactical.

    Just put in those parachute spotting rounds for the M203 and HK69 so we can light up an area for assault.

    As for Sentry Studios, if they are going to make an new INF, both UT2007 and Crysis look to be good candidates ( I'm for Crysis personally!). They could start making skins, etc while they are waiting for the game and the SDKs to come out. Something. Anything. Or are they not coming back?

    I hate him twice, because I was going to recall that issue (40mm flares) and he instaposted me...XD

    Are the flares still an adittion to future releases or just discarded project?

    I got postponed. I will require rewriting most of the M16A4 and INFc_Weapon code due to the ammunition type limit of four. It would have moved the release of the M16A4 back to the summer I would guess. That was simply not acceptable.

    It was 3 original 40mm ammo for m16A4: SD-HE (incendiary), HE and WS; the Flare would be the 4th, but to exceed the 4 ammo types limitation, a 5th type would have been planned... Is there a new 40mm ammo type coming along in a near future? ;-)
    Or am I just playing Watson?!? XD

    The 5.56 ammo counts as 1 ammo type. Nice try detective.

    Yurch, when you are close enough to a wall, enough for the weapon to move backwards due to collision, the GetOwnerLoc is messed up.

    INFc_Weapon.GetOwnerLoc, when in collision state, returns *sometimes*, a location like 20 meters behind the player. Hence, the fire trace starts 20 meters behind him and BAM, you shoot yourself. This is why it also happend when people were close to objects (collision).

    I haven't looked deeper into it, but that where the issue starts.

    I'll make a small demo video for your enjoyment.

    Whatever became of the incendiary rounds in question? I use to get a kick out of frying people online with the M16A4, but that hasn't happened for more than a year now.

    But shouldn't the utterly insane number of if ( pawnObserver(Other) != None && Other.Owner != None && Other.Owner != Owner && instigator != None && instigator != Other.Owner && Other.Owner != Shooter) and other associated derivatives be picking that up?

    I think I lost my mind trying to find the right statement check in BS4.

    OMG, are the updating in sniper behavior something to do with "cold shot" (3 or 5 first shots with the cold barrel) or/and manual zeroing the optical sights??? 8?

    Damn... I Though Ecale was talking about Wp1.5 ... who is actually working the Wp with you geo???

    Could just give a glimpse about the new sniper behavior (in Wp1.5)? Can´t have a clue ...

    nope i can't tell you that. classified information.

    As for who on the IMT is still doing stuff for the WP, that would be UN17 and Myself for the coding. We also have a lot of testers, including Lich, Neabit, and many others.

    So, its really a ONE MAN CODING CRUZADE (2 with UN17 ;-) and a handfull of testers... thats why so many work hours! Geo needs a reinforcement!!! (or some brazilian ladies whispering to his ears while coding..just for inspiration XD)

    No. It's really not that much of a one man cruzade. First, UN17 is doing much more then you think. Also, I got friends from outside the IMT to give me a hand since, as you can imagine, doing all this work alone would be difficult and most of the IMT moved on. Also, don't forget all those who worked on the animations, models, skins before the coding process started. Saying that this is a 1 man thing, isn't being very respectful to all the others who worked hard (and long hours) on this weapon pack.

    Eventhough the IMT (or most of it) moved to other projects, the WP still is a team effort, although I would even consider it now a semi-official IMT release. When I saw the project was getting closed, I basically decided to take it over myself and lead it to success (Not like I really gave a choice to Ecale or Crowze). Took some time, but I think we are getting somewhere now.
