    INFMOD Weapon Pack 1.4 (March 2006)

    Les sceptiques seront confondus! Yes, Weapon Pack version 1.4 is now released. You can’t say we made you wait too long this time…

    Please take the time to READ THE MANUAL to avoid problems after or during installation. Also, special requirements must be met to use some of the features of this Weapon Pack. Failing READ THE MANUAL section regarding requirements and installation may cause serious hypertension and headache. I am not responsible for those, I warned you ;)

    In this weapon pack, mostly fixes, tweaks, new sounds (thanks zeep) and some new toys. Check out the manual to see full credits.

    INFMOD_FNFAL : Minor bug fixes, model error causing crashes fixed.
    INFMOD_M4A1 : Redone, now with M203, ladder sight and tons of fun.
    INFMOD_M14DMR : Revised with better recoil and bob, especially prone (with bipod).
    INFMOD_M82A1 : Revised. You’ll love it. Reading the manual is recommended.
    INFMOD_OICW : Bugs corrected, New night vision (now it’s really a night vision), new interface with better status display. The same old fun.

    And we have two new additions:
    INFMOD_HK416 : don’t we love German engineering, ja? :D
    INFMOD_NightVision : Because we all hate Road to Kandahar night without them!



    Again READ THE MANUAL. Pay careful attention to the sections explaining special requirements. The night vision is something not really possible to do in Unreal Tournament, yet we did it anyway. Hooray. Both the NightVision mutator and OICW Nightvision require special settings. READ THE MANUAL

    Now can somebody name the fuken weapon priority names? Can't enable the HK416, also M4A1 is no longer selectable.

    Gosh...what a comprehensive manual, that´s REALLY a manual! 8D

    The cosmetic changes to M4 model were brilliant! Is the M16A4 going to be facelifted as well in the future realeases? The OICW is now supperdupper! Loved the Ammo counter!
    Gotta play more and then thank more ;-)

    [edit]: I am insane too or there´s a ricochet code in it??? UN´s work? I was astonished to see tracer rounds ricocheting 3 times in nearby walls at mostar!!! LOVELY!!! XD

    I should have read the damn manual completely lol

    I used the NVGs with precaching and the game went haywire while I was in platoon. I thought it would simply be a nuissance but I ended up getting in some kind of loop and my virtual memory filled up real quick. My computer is still acting squrrely lol. I gotta reboot then deactivate precaching then have at it again.

    Love the new weapon although I was so convinced it was a G36c I was somewhat disappointed when I read the release post..... then I tried it...... al i can say is nice...... very nice....

    Edit: Just tried it out again on EAS platoon. Got the same crash.

    I'm running on a Geforce FX 5600. Latest open GL drivers and I'm on UT 436. Also Aimview causes the weapon to disappear but I'm supposing you already know that. Still a great mod

    Ok. Just checked. Plattoon has the same problem as CargoUT. a map bug with dynamic lights. It's a bad map anyway (just as CargoUT).
    Some maps have errors in them that causes renderer to blow up when you use *any* dynamic lights in them. That means that includes the INF flashlight. Now I know why way back, when I played on Plattoon, I often crashed.

    bad maps. I will add this one in the Readme. thx for the find.

    Edit: aimview? that thing no server use? New to me.

    I only wrote code for RealTargets, so those bouncy bullets are a side effect of something else. Maybe you're running IBT? Maybe the new guns fire new projectile classes? Or maybe, just maybe, it's all in your head ;)

    Thanks for another prompt release Geogob, nice engineering-type manual (that so many people don't read.)

    As for aim view. I've been looking for a good excuse to ween me off of it. I guess this would be it. lol.

    Well here is a bad screen. I was playing on the GD server and my NV was working fine for awhile... until it just went FUBAR. It proceeded to be messed up on all the maps, even ones it worked fine on before. I am not sure what to put into mantis because I don't know what triggered it to make it start messing up on all the maps.


    Oh, and HOOYAH WP 1.4!! \o/ overall gj geo :)

    I was running IBT... but even the grenades flak was bouncing (3 pieces passed near me, it was somewhat frightening... but fun!XD)

    Geo, is there or there isn´t a ricochet code in the WP 1.4???
    BTW, loved the HK416 aimpoint, and the nearer position of the reflex sight in the M4! You guys should know that you´ve made me postponne the debut of my copy of The regiment I had just bought sunday! ;-) GJ all the way geo and all IMT!

    KW, I'm aware of this issue. found it out yesterday. I know what triggers it although it's hard to reproduce and hard to understand but I'm on it.

    As Odie said, If there were no place for improvement and no bugs to squash, i would be out of job ;)

    When that happens, usually, restarting round or switching to a loadout without NV and back to a loadout with NV afterwards fixes it.


    CL: No, there is no special rochet in the WP. Maybe you are running real targets or something. Check what mutators you have loaded
