I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but I'll take my chances. Big thanks to Chipper for finding it.

"Taking cues from counter strike, Infiltration builds on the familliar (and now chillingly topical) terrorist vs counter-terrorist genre..."

Well...he missed one part ;-)

I'd say it's counterstrike that takes cues from Infiltration. And fails miserably. The day Infiltration takes cues from Counterstrike is the day I'm leaving :p

You guys are never happy. For once, INF gets a real positive review that goes beyond "it's for UT so it's old and sucks", and you are all anal about a slight mistake :p

actually when i first started to play inf back in 2.85 i was taken here because of a good a review of it at a mod site ;) but most reviews acknowledge that its a well made game, just that its not for everyone ;)

well in the mainstream press anything that uses real life weapons is taking cues from counter-strike so just deal with it I guess

Hey if we didn't take some cues from CS how'd the DE get in? (I seem to recall hearing about a vote and it being popular at the time.) But hey the more people hear about INF the better.

I want to know who the reviewer is, as apparently he has been eagerly awaiting the release of 2.9. Does he post on these boards? What is his Nickname? If he does why the CS reference?

gawddammit YAY!!

It's good to see inf get a score it ****ing deserves.
Now let some more mags get off their arse and rate this mod.

/edit/
Some time back the benelux edition of pczone printed an article that inf was a cheap cs ripoff. Whats in my sig refers to that post, not this one.
