    it was a good show.

I think there where 2 really good kid shows,

Mr. Rogers and Seasame Street(however you spell it).

I mean the old SS, not the current one. the one where they talked about death of those we loved, and... heh.. "where babies come from."

the current sh*t is so watered down. it makes me sick. shows like Blues Clues, and Barny treat kids like they are dumbasses.

    Anybody remember the Captain?

Yeah, I can relate. When Iwas a kid I watched a show called Captain Kangaroo. It was great and he was a genuinely nice guy. I met him when I was working at a bookstore back in '89. He was doing a signing on a book about kids that he had written. He was super friendly and nice to everyone who worked there ( most of us were punks so this says alot about him ). When he died it was something that I genuinely felt bad about.

There were many sexual connotations and insinuations on Mr Rogers. Like once some woman was on and doing a thing about exercising and after she was done talking and demonstrating Rogers said something like "Exercising really does a body good, I hope one day me and you can get together and exercise one day". :)

Plus, you know Mr.Rogers had to be soooo high to put up with those damn kids and do all that trippy stuff with puppets. :D
