What software do you guys use? I've got something from Jasc on a trial run (runs out in a few days) that I use to modify screenshots so that I can place them into my maps. Anything, preferably free or damn good, that you guys can suggest that can modify color depth, crop, and resize a picture according to number of pixels?

Paint Shop Pro (Jasc) for a faster running program.

Fireworks for best integration with other MacroMedia products.

Paint shop pro, because its simple, fast and powerful. Not the best but a good all-rounder.

photoimpact from ulead for simple things like resizing, cause it loads fast and takes less resources, photoshop for the real stuff

/me uses both PSP and Photoshop, 'cause photoshop is a bit cack in some departments, though the hardcore 'shop users would never admit it.

I downloaded the shareware of photoshop. I'll actually install it once Paintshop runs out (I think that's what it's called). Does photoshop get any better than the shareware version if you pay them money?
