I'm scared of the Extras cd

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I have a p III 500, tnt2 , 128 ram, etc etc. no problems (I seem to be lucky reading the boards), but I want to know whether I can safely install the groov textures on the "extras" cd I got with the game. Is this the same as the "detail" textures option in the demo?

Nope, you won't be able to use the extra textures unless you have an card that supports DXTC(texture compression). All you will be doing is wasting your HD space. GeForce does, but I'm not sure how many others do.
