To start off with, I had a splitting headache all morning, and then, to make matters worse, when I showed up at my job, my boss fires me! I wouldn't have minded if it had been a serious complaint, but "not showing up on a day I said I couldn't work"!? Thats BS! To hell with that place. I'd been working there for over 2 years and I was still barely making minimum wage. I can always find an easier, better paying job. Life sucks...

I think I small dose of some of that new-fangled 2.8 treatment is in order...

As a matter of fact, my days have been pretty shitty too...

Warren, we need some help.

Help us the only way you can.

Be our saviour and get us some 2.8, on the double!

...or at least an update...

I was thinking he exaggerated a bit on the reason he got pink-slipped, but Keiichi, if that's really the case, consider yourself in a good position to have your way with the company.

BTW, what do you do, and who do you work for?

My old company did the same to me as well. I said "I absolutely cannot work this day". They said "tough". So, fuck them, I came in late one day and told them I quit in the middle of a busy time. They said they could really use me and could I please leave at the end of the shift. I said "tough". Walked out of there. Forget that.

I worked for a small-time grocery store. And no, I wasn't exagerating. I told him numerous times not to schedule me Mon-Thur because I have college classes all day long, and the idiot went and scheduled me anyway. So I just blew it off, and when I showed up on Friday, he told me to take a hike. Like I said, there are a ton of easier, better paying jobs in my area. Getting fired just saved me the trouble of having to quit (and this way I don't have to give him 2 weeks notice to work me to death, either). I'm thinking of applying at my local Best Buy or EB. At least then I'll be able to use my employee discount for something that's actually worthwhile.

Funny thing is, I've been waiting two long years for this day, knowing that when I finally got fired, I could whip out the sarcasm and give him the intellectual beating he so sorely deserved, but when it actually happened, I was so dumbstruck that all I could manage was a gurgling chuckle. Bastard caught me off gaurd. Two whole years, down the toilet...

So how much were you getting payed? If there's any blockbusters hiring near you, consider trying that- 2 guys in my clan... work(ed?) there, one got payed $7.50 an hour (the minimum at that particular location), and the other got substantially more (he managed the place), and they both said it was a cakewalk.

Those are the same f*cks that said I returned an empty case, and had to argue with the manager to tell them it was their own stupid f*ck employees that took the game.

"I think I would know the case was empty if it F*CKING FELT EMPTY!"

Grr, sorry, just had to vent /infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
