Since many people seem to have a problem with the 15m radius of the flag capture in DTAS, perhaps we need a new system? I have two ideas:
1) Random EAS style:
Attackers/Defenders spawn at random points on the map. A flag is spawned at the attacker's spawn. A defender is randomly chosen to "place the cd". After 10 seconds, the cd is dropped from this defender's feet. The attackers must grab this CD and bring it back to the attacker's flag. The CD can be grabbed in a full sprint.
2) CAPTURE the flag: DTAS is set up nearly the exact way as current, but two attackers must hold their 'use' key on the flag for 5 seconds to 'capture' it. This might not be as good, since attackers would generally kill all the defenders before bothering with the flag.
This of course raises the issue of unfair flag/cd placement, so perhaps a new method of this could be developed too.
I have nothing wrong with the current system of DTAS, other than its getting old seeing people reconnect every 5 seconds to be the placer, and people hiding behind 2 rooms because they're within 15m of the flag.
