I like your new site Bot

We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. I'm not saying your Basic, but seriously, what does this have to do with Level Editing at all? I figured it would get lost in Other Stuff, so I was trying to do you a favor ;)

I knew you were 16. I'd wager you know more than most ppl here too; moving quickly is 3117.

When my youngest brother was 9 he was the best in the entire family at Instagib. I got sick of it. Eventually he quit playing so it wasn't a contest, cuz by that time, i was *incredibly* good. Punk-ass. :p

i too am 15, but i'm too lazy to actually finish any maps...

i just keep on getting bored of working on something and start something new and so on and so forth...

Oh well...

about bot_40's site...

frames suck, plz don't use them (yea, i know it's a lot of work, but still). If you must use them, make sure u have a 'close frame' button. I think u can do that by <a href='javascript:window.parent.document.location.href=document.frames.main.src'> Close frame</a> or something like that...

also, i think ur contents would be more navigable if you add <style> A:hover{background-color:blue;}</style>
in the head of the contents (or the document if you get rid of the frames.)

Otherwise, nice site.

Please don't let this thread turn into an age war or something
Hmmm, I'm too lazy to get rid of the frames :p
And I know basicly no html or anything. I just used frontpage. I have no clue on how to go adding a close frame button

And <style> A:hover{background-color:blue;}</style> , I have no idea what this does (part from the fact it does something to the backround :))

right...

the <style> thing makes all the links have a blue background when you hover over them.

But it wouldn't do much in ur case cuz u've used an image map...

If u wanna keep the frames, u might wanna make the external links have target="_new" in the <a> tags (the links)...

(I dunno if frontpage lets u edit script, cuz i do all my html by hand, if it doesn't, u can open the files in notepad and edit them like text files.)

This will make them popup in a new window.

Or i think if u put target="_top" or target="_parent" it will load them in the entire window (as opposed to the frame, which is really annoying)

Grrrrr.....

Problems with frames:

You can only access the main page from favorites or location bar (e.g. u can only go ####.com not ####.com/@@@.html or else u can't see the whole page.

Search engines mess 'em up. They won't take u to the home page. (This can be alleviated by means of a robots.txt in which you enter the directories that you do not wisth search engines to access)

External links appear in the frame. Not a pretty picture.

When you resize the window (or if you have a low res) it looks funny (the frame doesn't shrink like a table would.)

There's probably more things that I can't remember right now.

You could just add the image map to the left of every page (but you'd have to make a table to properly format everything). You don't have that many pages so it wouldn't take too long. It wouldn't take that long to load cuz it's already been loaded before (and if u have a fast connection, then, well... you get the point.)

It's not too hard.
