i got some problems with outlook express and iexplorer

ok, the the thing is that outlook express takes waaaay too long to start. and internet explorer is really slow when i search for things (i type something i want to find and press search/find)
and it takes a few seconds before it registers it and during that time it almost seems like the computer has cashed, but it has not.
and Outlook express takes about 2-4 minutes to start and it didnt do that before.
And it wasnt like this before i formatted the computer.
and i had the same versions and all but it seems like something has slowed them down
i have a p2 450 mhz 128 mb ram, no viruses (i checked) windows 98.
plaes help me if you know what is causing theese problems

Here is a tipp to save you tim loading outlook express...DONT USE IT IT'S RUBBISH.

seriously tho, try deleting any unused files or defragmenting your hd. it might do something.

For IE, try dumping your Windows\Temp Internet Files.

Uninstall and then reinstall IE and Outlook Express. That should solve it
