i can make only maps for unreal?

i am spanish and new in this, i download the demo unreal engine 2 and see 20 tutorials, but all tutorials are make levels or maps for unreal game.

i can make only maps for unreal or i can make other game different?

thx people.

The tutorials are for Unreal, because Unreal uses the exact same editor. Just like HL1 tutorials will still apply to HL2, because they use the same editor.
