How to make a salto?!

Sorry for my bad english first, but how can i make a salto? I had often seen it in many internet games but can't figure out how to make one. I know its a stupid questions but please help me. Thanks

Actually you make a salto everytime you dodge forward or backward, but from your view you can't see it but the others can. All you see is a longer jump than usual.

If you want to have the feeling of making a salto you should try MatrixMoves for UT.
