How to make a "hologram" using bot mesh?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hellow everybody! I’m building a level and I need to put a bot or human mesh in it that appears to be walking on spot like a hologram (but not transparent). If anybody knows how to do that - please tell me.

The question is about the old UT99 editor.

under pawns there are some bots, put one in and add a cylinder invisible colision hull around it.
Look through the properties of the bot and see if theres a way to get it to run foward constantly.

I don't know if it will work, but I do know changing the mesh of a decoration won't make the bot-mesh run. My idea is to select a deco wich already animates and just change the mesh and the animation "Properties>Displat>Animation"

By the way, what's wrong with transparent?

New problem

So I took your advices and it worked - sort of. The problem is I need this walking figure in an end camera sequence in an assault map. Regrettably I found out that all pawns are removed from end camera sequences. I tried human bot, nali, pupae – nothing. They are totally gone with the wind. Does anybody know how to make them visible? :D
