How to create a character

Hi,


I want to create a character that I can afterwords control with unrealscript. I don't want to have a humanoid king of player, but I want my player to be a cub for exampe. How/where can I create this cub and then export it to unreal ?

3DSMax/Maya with ActorX. Look then up at the UDN website (http://udn.epicgames.com) or other websites that offer tutorials in this area. As for scripting the Wiki (http://wiki.beyondunreal.com) is a good start.
