HOLP3 Volume 1 Released!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. The aim of HOLP is to provide Unreal Tournament 3 levels with high quality gameplay and performance, and oldskool UT visuals. This pack is not meant to rival the graphics found in the retail UT3 levels, using limited bloom, normal maps and clutter.

Hey HOLP guys, great work on mappacks, though I had one minor request... is it possible to seperate DM maps from CTF maps?? How about releasing all HOLP 1, 2 and 3 DM maps together in one package?
Thing is, not everyone enjoys CTF and some people might not be interested in DM maps, so those are hundreds of MB of useless maps on a harddrive.

Can't you just delete the maps you don't want? :) Splitting up the map packs and uploading them is time consuming, and uses extra space and bandwidth, when most people will download the full map pack.

Some authors choose to release their maps separately after each pack is released. Looking for the individual downloads is probably the best way to go if you only want a select few maps. You could always contact the author if a specific map isn't available separately.

Because the majority of players does play both, and we want there to be as little hassle as possible for the most people downloading. That aside, there are the bandwidth concerns.

Should you be adamant about your concerns, you could always wait until the individual authors start releasing their pack levels individually.
