Help with new machine

So, ol' bessie is reaching the end of her lifespan as a cobbled machine. I'm looking for some insight on these two cases and some other hardware. I'm not the most knowledgable, but I know I'm not going to buy something that doesn't fit with the other things.

I'm looking at the Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced - Blue Edition
And the NZXT Phantom 530 - Black

Or the newer i7-4770K. If so, use a motherboard with the Z87 chipset (?). I googled and landed here:

At that price range (320 - $360), there are also the Sapphire Radeon 7970's, but choosing between NVidia or ATI, depends if you want to use your card for something else besides gaming.

If you need hard drives, stay away from Seagate and WD Green. Choose WD Blue or WD Black

I'm planning on staying within the 1200 USD budget range at the moment, are LGA 1150 boards relatively less expensive?

EDIT: Looks like it. I also shouldn't even bother with the LGA 2011 series.

I've chosen to go with a Thermaltake instead. Price-wise as well as fan-wise, this looks like a good choice to me.

Nice case!

Though, I'd stay away from Thermaltake and OCZ on components that need to perform reliably like PSU's, cooling, storage... . Worst/most overrated brands in the market.
