Help with jailbreak webserver settings!! (ut99)

Ok I need help with setting up the stats page and also making the 2 options pickup, release protection available for jailbreak game.

I downloaded jailbreak gold and uploaded all the webadmin files it said to upload. Didn't change any of the existing files or rename anything. Am I supposed too? Also how the heck do you get the stats page to work? There wasn't much documentation on that.

2. Check the manual about setting up a Jailbreak III server (should be in UnrealTournament\Help\JailbreakIII\manual.html)
3. Every Jailbreak game server that has the web admin interface enabled provides a public game stats page accessible via the address http://<serverip>/ServerAdmin/stats/, where <serverip> is the game server's IP address.

Ok will do. Also I have looked at the manual. Heres what I did. I downloaded jailbreak gold zip and extracted it. I then uploaded all the system, texture and sound files to the server. Also the web folder too. Uploaded all that. Put all the serverpackages it said it needed and its running ok. The server ip btw is unreal://64.37.120.183:7777?password=zpjb its a server used for pugs at irc.protium.org #zpjb only UT99 though.

So I got the server running and now I want the web admin pages accessible. A friend of mine said in the readme files JailbreakIII-SP1.txt it says the following.

* Plain-text version of web admin interface templates included. To use them
on dedicated Linux servers, copy them from the Web/plaintext subdirectory
into the Web directory.

* Plain-text version of public game stats page included. To use it, rename
the file System\JBServerAdmin-plaintext.int to JBServerAdmin.int and
restart your server. If you want to customize this page, have a look into
that file and into jail_stats.uhtm or jail_stats_plaintext.uhtm.

Well don't know what the first thing meant really, but I am running a Linux Server. I did the second thing and renamed the jbserveradmin-plaintext.int file. Still the serveradmin/stats page doesn't work. Heres a link to how my webadmin files look.

Do I have to edit the applicationpaths thing in the server.ini? Else I don't know what to do :(

Where <serverip> consist of <ipnumber>:<webadminport>, so like this :

http://62.75.174.72:8888/ServerAdmin/stats/

When I did some admin stuff in the past, I never had any problems with accessing the Serverstats page. All I did was upload the Webfiles to the server and it worked. I never renamed the "System\JBServerAdmin-plaintext.int". I can't see at the moment why in your case it would be any different ;)

Specific error message is: ERROR: Page not found or enabled.

I only renamed the one jbserver.int file. And uploaded all the jail_xxxx files to the webadmin directory in the appropriate folders. But it doesn't work. I'm serious. :eek: I showed the link to all my web files rarred up. You can look for yourself. Mine look just like that.

Am I supposed to have a stats folder? Or setup an application path in the server.ini like so: Serveradmin/stats and then put jbserver.jbserver blah blah? I'm seriously confused :(

ya the /serveradmin/ link works fine. ;) I didn't add any application path so it still looks like this

Hi guys - just thought I'd throw my bit in here. JB as Mychaeel pointed out does not work with Advanced WebAdmin. You just get a page not found, but the header for the page appears showing the map name with the word 'ERROR' above it.

I use VAS for stats in JB and it appears to work well and integrates nicely to all Gametypes.

www.darchangel.gotdns.com:81/vassts/ would give you an idea.

This is not a plug guys - honest.

Maybe I'm mistaken. but that mod looks like 2k4 to me. I mentioned ut99 in the title in my thread :\
