i just go some new wireless headphones.. which are pretty much cool.
but there is ALWAYS static in the background.. its like a light rain sound when nothing is playing at all.

so my question: is this normal with all wirelss headphnoes?
i mean if im playing a game i need to be listen/be quiet in, i dont want to hear...
"chhhhhhh" in the background forever..

yes: i am close enough to the reciever
i am on the right channel
i have tried other channels

any help would be cool.

btw these are RCA WHP141 (cant find anything on the internet)

Sadly it's not anormal. Even with every expensive wireless hearphone you get static. Especially with the ones using IR transmission. The RF ones are a bit better overall... but not that good.

I know it gets worse when batteries are low. Might want to check that out. Range can also be an issue, but you say you are close enough.
