help needed to finish a model

i made this robot model for UT, but i can't skin map, skin, or animate it, i tried, just can't.

so i'm hopeing someone can help me get it skin mapped, skinned & animated, the only things i can't do.

It looks like you are using milkshape. For Skinnig: http://www.psionic3d.co.uk/tutorials.html, and for character importation, and animation: http://www.jeffparrott.com/mayaut2k3_01.html <Note that that was done in Maya, but some should apply.
