Help-missing version number issue

I have UTv451,and when I run setup.exe,.umod files or Umod tool2,I got a error message says I have invaild version number or missing version number.
From what I think,I guess UT is sort of messed up.I dont know why it happens,
somebody help?

PS: I've tryed reg fixes,no good.

It probably happens because 451 is unofficial patch. Latest official patch is 436. Actually 451 is not recommended unless you want to run a server.

Btw I think you have "ignore version check" option in Umod Tool

nope,I've reinstalled the game and problems still accur.
also,where is that ignore version check option?
I got a error message when I try to open a umod with umod tool:
"Access violation at address 00538BCA in module 'umodtool.exe'. Read of
address 000000000."

EDIT:Installed patch v436 no delta.still got the problem.

Here's a screen with instruction of how to ignore version checking.

But on a 2nd thought if you get access violation it probably won't help you. Tbh I just don't know any effective methods of getting rid of those type of errors. Windows reinstall may be. Just try it on other PC to see if it will be ok there.

Or download another Umod browser to extract the content for manual install.

yeah,guess I have to use non-umod now.quite annoying,but doesnt really affect gameplay anyway.
