Help! Is there something wrong with my UT?

I remember when I first played it, when you pick up armour, the character will have some coloured transparent shield around him. Now whenever someone picks up a shield, all I see is the player model covered in some "liquid shimmering goo" (of the correct colour). Does anyone else get this?

I have two installations. One has Inf, SWAT, the matrix mutators, several other insignificant mutators, and the other has SF and U4ET and matrix moves. Can someone help me please?

Oh just help plz!

This may or may NOT be an Inf problem (prob'ly not) - I just want to know whether anyone has this same effect, and whether they know the solution. This is for the general PUBLIC, not necessarily the Inf team - I don't want to burden them so much 'K?

This forum is for Infiltration- there are other forums that relate to general UT problems, or of course the other mod forums. I can't make exceptions for each person because it clutters up the Inf forums. Thus this topic is being moved to Off-Topic. Troubleshooting is best kept for Inf problems only.
