I cant wait for Halo, I just hope that Microsoft makes it for something other than X box. It is questionable whether Microsoft will have it finished for PC or Mac. Why would Bungie be bought out by the evil of all evils? I MEAN COME ON!!!!....IT'S MICROSOFT!!!!!

Holy cow!! I calculate that would have taken nearly 9 hours!!

In that case i deserve 3 copies of halo. since i'm downloading that damn 160mb file for the 3rd time on my 56k. The DL died at 70% on the first try and 20% on the second.

I also deserve Metal Gear Solid 2 and a friggin PSX2!

Yes it was like a 8 1/2 hour download (overnight...) but it was worth every single second...MAN WHAT A GAME...and I use Download Accelerator for my downloads. It's a good program, logs in 4 times on the same server (so my average dl-speed is 5.2kb/s...)and you can abort ans resume whenever you want...

If my 56k cut off at 70% on a file that large...I'm not sure what I might do to my line.
It once died at 96% on a 4meg mp3 and I thought that was bad. Just how many times did you curse at your connection after that happened? ShakKen you NEED to get Getright.

Day 2: Start up again, only to find the server sends you back that 'webpage' thingy, and you've just lost 10 MB of your monthly download 'limit'

really hate those damn servers which only tell you they don't support resuming when you try to resume... (happened to me on d'load accel where it said that the server supported resuming until i actually tried resuming the file...)

1. I've got the whole 10 minute E3 movie off this months PC gamer CD, saving me a LOT of time.

2. I heard that Microsoft made a deal with Apple to port it's games over to the Mac, including Halo.

If you tried to dl it on a 56k, why don't u use an ftp program. I did that but it is such a cool movie. Thanks for your input folks.
