gta3 will rock! I loved gta1 and it had **** graphic... though this was standar in these times...

gta2 made me get new rams so i could enjoy it!
and 3 will blow! I might ask a friend for his ps2 so i can lend gta3 from a vodeothek... maybe we will play at his house... dunno

Im sure with all the things you can do in this game there will be some bugs, and it will probably not be astounding in graphics, but I've always wanted to play a game(in 3D) where I could run around and shoot, then get in a car and haul a$$. Kinda like Driver but lots better.

I have both gta1 and gta 2 but between the controls and not being able too see very far ahead of you, makes it a little difficult to get the hang of. (Especially when using the keyboard)
Thing is, after this game takes off, im sure there will be lots more games to follow.

Could you Imagine an unreal engine powering a game like this?
Deathmatch in cars.....When your car wont go anymore, just get out and use the rocket launcher on the other players.....yet you may be road kill if your not quick enough......:D

that is possible yet it could be done as a Mod for the u2 engine... think about it you have much time to prepare till u2...

Arrrrr, I got GTA 3 today as a present but I just found out that my PS2 is broken, the CD draw won't open. I'm gonna have to get it replaced :(

having played hte PS2 version, throughout finals week, let me tell you, this game is EVIL!

EEEEVVVVVIIILLLLL!!!!!

well first because i had it for finals week and basically did that instead of studying. secondly, well the premise... you walk donw the street and beat people. sure it was fun walking with an uzi and killing the gangsters vigilante style... but there's so much potential for evil... so.... wrong.... evil....

don't try the Unreal engine comparison, because it's not really a multiplayer type thing... there's no comparrison, i mean, the thing only renders a few blocks on the fly as you're driving or walking through it, only where you can see, so if you chase a hoodlum and he turns a corner, that's it, he's just gone, but simultaneously tehre could be 30-40 people/vehicles each doing their own thing in your viewable area, heck there are people stealing cars from each other, and from you. add to that special cars like the ambulence, etc. it's really much much more emersion than UT. i mean, if you just sit around a block and beat the **** out of people, and kill them, eventually the ambulence comes to revive them, and when they do you can steal the ambulence and wreak some real havoc.... but i'm ranting... i love this game... droooool...
