good 2D Editing Tutorials

So you want a what? Huh? A half cylinder? You have to think about things in a section view, that is cut along a plane if intersection. If you want a cylinder, you make a square, and so on. The extrude and sheet things are clear aren't they?

dunno but, i would rather draw an overhead view of a cylinder and extrude it rather than dealing with a new brush builder.

So far I'm stuck using curves with halves of cylinders.
i learned simply by making all sorts of shapes on the grid, then hitting all the buttons and see what they do, and if i got confused, i would make a new shape and try that button again. it's long process, but it works good.

Personally, I wouldn't use the 2D editor unless you absolutely
have to. It adds too many useless vertexes which can
make BSP errors that much more likely.
If at all possible try making your brush by clipping and/or vertex
editing instead.
