Me and my roommate are having a discussion about gift registry. She is getting married and her fiancé wants to register a Xbox360 as a wedding gift. Is this a**hole or is it a legitimate thing to register?

It's traditional to get household-type gifts. Stuff that will help the newly married couple start their life together. Stuff like blenders, mixers, measuring cups/spoons, silverware, tablecloths, vibrating dildos, pots, pans, salt/pepper shakers, and various other kitchen supplies are common.

I don't see the problem...the guy never gets to put anything down...so instead, they get 500 sets of silverware. **** it...get a 360. If people will spend $200 on a food processor, they can up their ante for a 360.

I don't think its a bad idea. Where does it say you have to register things you need? Traditionally yes its housewares, But we have all been living on our own for quite a while. We already have all those house things. Or we have learned to live without them. lol
I think they should register one. As of now they are paying for the rehearsal dinner, witch is BS!

Your subtlety is applauded, sir!
