[General]-Skinning : Texture Overlay - Mini-tutorial

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Giving your textures more depth and realism:

Using a texture overlay you can give your skin that little bit of extra polish. Do your skins end up looking to cartoony or false? If so then this will help you!

  • Your finished texture
  • Get an ovrlay texture from any good image site (or make your own)
  • Paste the overlay above your texture and then set the blend mode to 'Overlay'
  • Play around with the transparency/hue and saturation to achieve desired effect

Hope this helps!
