Gasp! A *new* inf server!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

That's right, Phoenix Rising has opened a new EAS server to the masses! For the next few days, it'll be under testing and tweaking, and we'll be happy to listen to any suggestions you have for it. Right now, it's got UTCompass, RD, the weapons and bonus packs, and the fixes for each, plus something else probably, mutators wise. As far as custom maps, we're putting together what we want. Post here or in the Phoenix Rising forums if you have any suggestions. Look for "<P^R> Public EAS Server" and join if you're interested. P^R will be playing there regularly, so if you're looking for some EAS, look no further!

I tried to get my friends into it, but they all complain it's too hard. They go online then get owned then they quit. They would rather play games like World of Warcraft or Battlefield 2. I suppose I could stand outside schools in a trenchcoat and do the "psst, hey kid, wanna check out a really cool free game?" thing. But I would probably get arrested.

P^R has run five servers:

  • A vanilla 286 server, off someone's home pc, had some custom maps. Only up for a few months.
  • A passworded dtas RAv2 server, which then went to ra286.
  • An RAv2 CTF Server with timed reinforcements.
  • A vanilla 2.86 TDM Server.
The last three ran at the same time. Now, we have this one.


Other server admins:

I'm still having a problem getting the webadmin working, and I can't get the maplist to show up. Any ideas of what I should check/try? :hmm:

You forget the server that I ran for a short stint before the first weapon pack was released.
