Gametype Request: Team Race+Team Big Air

One thing your mod needs is a reason for clans to play, i suggest 2 easily impemented modes.

Team Big Air- have all the points for team members add together, first team to 200 wins
Team Race- plays out like a normal race, team with the most total checkpoints win

I think Race is just one of the gametypes that shouldn't be teamed. I'd 'teamify' these types: CTF, Roamer, K-Ball and maybe, as you say, BigAir.

Team Rabbit sounds... untraditional. We'll see how playable it is ;)
Team CTF is obligatory. CTF was conceived for team action, and as a UW team game, I am quite sure it will rule.

Team rabbit worked very well on Tribes, bu here we'd have to implement a "three second headstart" in which the rabbit cannot change teams (i.e. even if you crash you don't lose rabbitness) so that the team can all start moving away from everybody. also in that timeno points should be given.

Yup, this game screams teamwork...especially in k-ball.
Blocking for your team is going to be important. Hopefully people won't do things like barricade their rabbit into a corner with centipedes or ghey stuff like that.
I'm envisioning a game of rabbit with the rabbit being chased by their team and the enemy team all trying to take eachother out. Kinda gives the non-rabbits something to do and makes it so less than half of the feild is after the rabbit(half of the feild is blocking for you while the other half is being accosted while trying to take you out).
I'm loving the potential here, but I agree that race shouldn't be teamified unless you add a new relay gametype.

I sorta envisioned a "The entire team is the rabbit" and I can't wait to o on a server and start shouting at the n00bs for getting "tagged" so quickly and letting the team down

Think of them as a flag runner. Same thing can happen in a RW CTF game. :)

I like the sound of your idea, though...that's pretty crazy sounding...having to move as a group or devide and conquer...LMAO oh the chaos.

Theoretically, but you should be able to choose when to pass the flag to a teammate. And, ATM, the code is "When you crash into someone with the flag, you get it" whilst what we need is into "When you crash into someone on your team and you have the flag, the temmate gets it". Not a big change, but maybe binding to a key "give flag to teammate mode toggle" may keep us from angry players who "didnt wanna pass the damn flag to that teammate just now!!!11!". If somebody from the opposing team crashes in you, you lose the flag anyway, ignoring if TeammateFlagPassingMode is on or off.
