i've been composing mainly experimental rock music for a few years now. It's not standard rock, more electronic. Based more on psycadelic rock. I've been playing it live with a band for a little while now and decided the basic electronic files I've composed as our live templates work well on thier own as songs. I thought they would probably fit in well in the gaming environment. If anyone has interest in original music for thier mods or whatever.

I don't really game like i used to. I've played the original half life all it's expansions, the unreal series up to 2003, doom 3 and every fps that was on nintendo 64. I generally know how they work in terms of environment.

my music is really more trippy than the dark ambience found in most, but I wouldn't mind setting up a long term project with some people who wanted a score written or something. I'm guessing this isn't a common topic so any interest at all, let me know.

What Unreal game are you interested in? I have a mod in preliminary stages for Unreal Tournament (the original, not 2k3/2k4/2k7) called Devastation. The project may be small, but the creative potential is high.

Drop me a line if you're interested: mrbond113 [at] hotmail [dot] com

Here's basically what my deal is.

I don't really play shooter games anymore. I'm just looking to work on an interesting project. I've never really written music for a game, however I do have a lot of experience writing for a band. Therefore what I'm offering is going to be a bit different from the composers you might be used to. Nothing orchestrated, more straight on melodic trippy rock. It doesn't all have to sound like this however.

I want to really work with some group developing something unique. Not really into the world war simulations. I really want to find some people who are really striking out and trying something totally new.

As for work I'll put into it: I can show you a couple songs if you're interested, but I don't just want to paste some songs I have done already into someones game. I want to really work with the map builders and writers to come up with some dynamic music. It should all work together rather than as seperate components.
