Game froze online with looping sound

I had been playing ONS on my regular server, Death Warrant Spam Vikings, when the server crashed. I looked for another ONS server and found one called unrealmassdestruction.com to play on. I downloaded the ONS-IceFields-RMD map. The server ran an Anti-TCC check on me and warned me that my version of the ECE Bonus Pack was incompatible with its due to the fact that I had installed the 3369 patch before installing the ECE Bonus Pack. I ignored the warning and played anyway. Everything was going OK, but then it just froze solid with the sound looping. I was able to exit the game and go back to the desktop.

Here is a Paste Bin of the last chunk my ut2004.log file. If you need the whole thing, let me know.

Anyway, I went back into the game, found that Death Warrant was back up, and played without a hitch until I decided to log off.

So my question is, could Anti-TCC or the incompatibility of my ECE Bonus Pack installation cause the freeze?

Wormbo would know if it's AntiTCC. Try installing the Mega Pack and see if it fixes the problem on that one server.

Who or what is Wormbo?

Before installing the Mega Pack, would it be advisable for me to simply unisntall and reinstall the entire game since I made the stupid mistake of installing the v3369 patch before the ECE Bonus Pack? I didn't realize the ECE Bonus Pack needed to be installed prior to the v3369 patch.

And no, just install over your current version of 2k4.

Just finished downloading. Will now install and report if there are anymore problems or not next time I play.

edit: Thanks so much for that file! I just played a bit on the server I crashed out of before and didn't receive that incompatibility message this time.

So, assuming the freeze up had come from incompatible files, hopefully it won't happen again.
