Game crashes when trying to join TAM server(s)

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hi, I keep getting the following error whenever I try to join a server that is running TAM:

UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-03-03_02.42]

OS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 3214 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: ATI Radeon HD 4670 (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1) (630)

General protection fault!

History: UObject::processEvent - (Misc_Player DM-Rankin-FE.Misc_Player, Function 3SPNv3141.Misc_Player.PostNetBeginPlay) - HandleStream - UActorChannel::ReceivedBunch - (Actor Misc_Player) - UChannel::ReceivedSequencedBunch - Direct - UChannel::ReceivedRawBunch - DispatchDataToChannel - BunchData - UNetConnection::ReceivedPacket - UNetConnection::ReceivedRawPacket - UTcpNetDriver::TickDispatch - UpdatePreNet - ULevel::Tick - (NetMode=3) - TickLevel - UGameEngine::Tick - Level Rankin-FE - UpdateWorld - MainLoop

Things I have tried:
1) updating graphics card driver
2) using default ini's
3) changing render device to OpenGL
4) using lowest display settings
5) update to latest patch, 3369
6) running UT2004 under vista and XP on a windows 7 64bit machine

I have been able to join any other game type, it's just TAM that makes the game crash. I've also tried running a local host game with the TAM mutator but that also crashes the game.

Anyone know any solutions? I am running windows 7 64 bit.

arrrrrrrrrr all this time I thought I had patched it because I downloaded the 3369 64bit version and just copied and pasted the files into the system folder. But now I've downloaded the normal 3369 version and ran that and it now works! Finally after 3.5 hours. Thanks Wormbo! :D :D
