G11 question

Hey guys i just had a idea. The H&K G11 has a unique feature. Besides a magazine in the weapon itself, there is a special rack of some sort on the side where 2 extra magazines can be placed. This makes reloading for those clips only. No more reaching into your harness. So could there be a special feature where you can put 2 clips on the side of the G11 so that you reload faster for those two magazines, then you go back to normal reloading speed. What do you think?

A Sig-550 series rifle has mags, which can be put together side by side; at least three are possible, anything more is not that sensible anymore.
You also can tape together most AR mags and SMG mags..
Some even provide metal clips which hold the mags together - the Uzi has such clips, holding two 25 round mags together in 90 degree angle..

This all could be added, and has been suggested often, but it's rather hard to programm, AFAIK..

I don't think it'd be too hard to program, but it'd be a real bitch to animate. think about how many extra animations you'd need for that:
regular reload
taping the mags togethor
switching between the taped mags from each possible way
pluss, this would introduce another key

Lost is right, the extra animations involved would GREATLY increase the file size, not to mention my work /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif Each extra mag you attach to the weapon would multiply the animation amount. With 2 extra clips, that's 3 times the animations. Possibly in the future we can make something like that work like weapon attachments do, but until then, not likely.

Speaking of attatching 3 mags together...

Clyde Barrow (as in Bonnie and Clyde) took apart 3 20 round mags for his Browning Automatic Rifle, welded together the springs and bodies of the mags and put it back together as one large magazine that held just shy of 60 rounds... when the magazine was in use he called his BAR his "scattergun".

once i was visiting my local police station. ( no not like that ) and i picked up some guns & ammo type of paperback, and was flipping through to i came upon a section of swat stuff. In it they showed a Sig 550 ( i think) with about 13+ side clips on it and some kind of jury rigged tripod. (although the guy was walking around with it folded up ) I think they said they was used as somekind of SAW.
