Jerdaygo, if you open the terrain properties, terrain Scale, and scale the Y value to where you want it so you can race like you want. That is, assuming you would like the furrows a little less steep.

I am working on making it work well with current steepness, I will have a test version soon and will test it out and if I need to mess with the steepness I will but I like how its going so far ;)

Its not ready to be played, check the server now, I believe the new furrow dash and Train maps are no longer avalible to select, at least untill they are complete.

hehe, I knew they were there by accident. When the server didn't reset, I thought you were trying to let me d/l furrow. Guess it's a good thing I was the first one to join after ya'll ran the test maps.
Stevenhorton sent me his map for music reasons, so I was able to play that one.
Did you try "Eight Leged Allyway" on that map yet?

Think I might respell it "8 Leg'id Allyway", stevenhorton's wife is a redneck, & might like it better that way......LOL :lol: :D ;)
After all, she did marry "Steve" ;)

Where's the d/l for it? Also, will you or snipe be running Craze's map? I haven't downloaded it yet, but I will if ya'll are going to run it.

I don't know if it is or not....Saw him on your server about a week ago....said it was about ready.
I asked him if it had any holes in it.... :lol: he said no, but he also said there are no boundries set either :rolleyes:
Anyone going to host "Northern"? Fast map, looks like it would be fun with 3-4 players.


Ohyeah, I tried to join your server ($n][pErMan), but nothing happened. Jerdago & Stevenhorton were testing maps on his server, so I was locked out (everyone else too, not just me). You were pinging really good, but I couldn't connect????

Ya... I called them and I think the lines are good again. The server was locked for some time before I realised that the internal router port had changed and I had not changed my permissions so it was blocking all connections. SHould work fine now... just tested it externally :)

I hope to have a link for download soon, tweaking and some bug squashing has been done, so sniperman you will need to download it too once I have a link and also incase you guys have not seen it you should check out PXs new map UWRM-Torpedo in the editing section :D

It's wacky fun with three + players, only one thing that annoys me (other than the customary "the lighting is white!" complaint)

The fences (particularly the ones lying on the ground) cast enormous shadows that make it sometimes too dark to be able to tell where to go, I'd recommend turning bShadowCast off for these meshes in the display properties, alternatively (a much easier method) add a deep-blue ambient light to the map, it'll add colour and brighten up the shadows as if UT2004 had a radiosity renderer.

it would be cool if the headlights worked properly, but the effect of the headlights seem to be tempremental on most surfaces so its not a safe bet not to rely on headlights on maps and light them all brightly instead...
