Man, this is some of why I used to play online. These may not be terribly funny to anyone else, but they were to me anyway.

Names have been changed to protect people.

Guy 1: Why the **** does my team keep shooting me?!
Me: Well maybe if they're in a vehicle they have a hard time telling red from blue. I know I ****in do.
Guy 1: No man, they're shooting at me with the sniper

I know TKing has been around forever, but that was funny to me anyway.

Another incident, different player:

Guy 1: *spamming the "HACK US ENERGY" voice bind*
Me: YELLING AT ME WON'T HELP ME ****IN FIND IT NOW WILL IT?
guy 2: LOL
Guy 3: ROFL
Guy 1:I am spammin it cuz we got none
Me: Well you spamming it isn't going to help us now is it? I know we need it, shut up.

5 minutes later, we hacked 2 generators and get enough energy to bring the artifact node online and he registers it

Me: IS THAT BETTER, YOUR MAJESTY?

No reply.

And then there's the whole matter of running over teammates with the Raptor four times by accident, but we just won't get into that.

This is actually even better than U2XMP.

So just why is it everyone flocks to the negative threads, but the ones that tell people someone is actually having a good time playing with them get ignored?

Maybe they got too used to bitching about Atari, teamkilling and other things on the u2:xmp forums .

Yeah, well, I'm actually having a good time here. I've seen some of you guys out and about already. I don't play under this name, cause, well, I suck too much

But I play as a tech, and not a very good one. I don't do much fighting. I'm more of the subterfuge and "hack sh*t" guy.

That radar is useful nub.

(Though the generators do look a lot like the artifact nodes on the radar )

How do you add people to your Buddy List in UTXMP?

edit: And a smartarse answer of "The same way you do it in UT2K4" doesn't help cause I don't know how to do it there either.

Right clicking a name in the server browser only gives me an option to view stats.

Right clicking a name in the server browser only gives me an option to view stats.

Join Game>Buddies>Buddies Name>Right-click>Add Buddy

You can then type the nick of the player

If it's a clan tag you're after:
ex. |xF|* Displays all players with the |xF| tag

You can then use Refresh to see if any of your buddies are online and it will list the server that they are in.

Or.. Join->Buddy list->Right click on left sidebar->Add

BTW, that stuff is hilarious.

Best moment I had was driving a Raptor to the red base gen on Sirocco, getting out, and watching it land on me since it bounced off the hill. My teammate gets out and revives me, and the Raptor gutblows me in place.
That and driving a harbie into one of the doors on Sunset cause there were two enemies and a teammate there and killing all three.

Did you know that if you put down a forcewall pole, and thenturn around and put down another one and then stay there while the forcewall materializes on you, you die?

Guess how I found this out!

At least I'm so entertaining to my team. I did that right in front of about three people.

Oh yeah, those kills are hilarious.
For added funny, do it to a jugg camper who isn't paying attention

You can also kill other players like. [12m]Gambit once managed to kill an attacker on the node with a force wall during a clan game
