I'd really like to see some kind of fire grenade which acts like a normal grenade but causes a fire which keeps burning for a while, maybe spreading. I have only seen this in one single FPS before, and that's my old multiplay favourite Strife (using the Doom engine /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif). It'd be really useful, especially for blocking of passageways, and I can't imagine it could be hard to code - if the Doom engine can do it, surely the UT engine can.

a) Infiltration is about tactical combat using modern weapons. About the simplist thing available is an AK-47 (or maybe some of the mines).

b) A molotov cocktail is a crude weapon. It may be good for improvished guerillas (forgive for spelling), but a modern strike force has access to better armouries

c) It's a new weapon suggestion.

Well, it doesn't have to a Molotov, I mean, there are more hi-tech flamegrenades out there, I'm sure. It certainly adds to tactics (at least the Strife version did - try it! IT rox!) and fire is still used today.

Since it's a weapon suggestion, should I post this somewhere else?

OK you may have a point, but it would mainly be of useto clearing out a bunker or structure (like in Clear and Present Danger). The one major problem that I could think of would be actually implementing it in the UT engine without having to upgrade to a Cray-2

Fires like that doesn't take much system resources at all, once you get a good looking fire (not like the present ones).
