First skin ever, Ophelia in lingerie!

Ok, go easy on me since this is my first skinning adventure... flesh tones are harder than i thought... and seams... man, they're just a beeyatch!

Right, well, i was offline for a week so i made an alternate skin for Ophelia, washed her face cos she had some oil/dirt on her cheek, dyed her hair a little, took her top off, gave her a bra, took her trousers/pants off and gave her a thong with diamante embellished "BITCH" on the back (it's based on a real product, so don't start crying) and finished off with some sheer lace top hold-up stockings...

So, I still got team colours to learn how to do and implement... but Ophelia's lookin a lot better imho.

This is my first post on the forum so I hope the multiple linked images is alright, I tried to get the size down as much as possible and cropped for all you's still on dial-up

Any thoughts... is this good? I wish I could edit the actual model, but i bet that's opening a whole can of worms and messing about with UV mapping and all sorts... heh, anyway, yeah, should i post this skin? (lol, i'm a n00b as far as skinning goes, but photoshop is one of my favourite tools and uPaint is quite friendly i think, i'll shut up now, lol)

For your Pics .The best way is to attach them (you see the thumbnails and decide if you want to see the big one or not).

Awesome work, Ophelia was always pretty darn good looking, there though I think if you get some practice check out EvilEngine's Opehelia-Enhanced(has breast bones that allow for realistic jiggle) and put the skin on her. Yeah, weird, the one I'm going to is being sponsored by Nintendo starting this September... hope they don't try and force GameCube dev/architecture on me... i would cry... meh... i spose it means more stuff for the Uni so who cares...

lol, i might take the job at that point... hell, game dev is game dev... it's just nintendo ain't my favourite platform, but hey, if they offer me a job then cool, i'll just move onto playstation / xbox / pc a year or two later...

Depends though. I would work on the DS in a heartbeat, I see a lot of possibilities in that one. Imagine UT on that against 16 people in a random place, now thats the future, wifi.

not sure about UT on the Nintendo DS myself... not sure about any fps on a digital gamepad... maybe with the touch screen... i think gameplay would just be too frustrating...

it's about time they dropped the GameBoy altogether though, in all it's guises... especially with the PlayStation PSP coming...

but yeah, if the DS is supposed to have "3-D renderings that can surpass images displayed on the Nintendo® 64" then it be cool for like Monkey-Ball or more arcadey type stuff like that...

I meant the possibilities. I wouldn't mind an easily portable ut. And laptops definitely dont count(they get heavy if you want real desktop replacement power).

it's not far off... lcd screens that you can roll up are in development.... so you could have have a tube, pull out the screen, unroll it (and it unrolls totally flat), and you can have a keyboard that works of lasers/infrared, and a mouse somehow... and the pc/handheld something around the size of a GameGear... all this is already available... just the roll-up lcd isn't in production yet...

can't wait man... i'm gonna be one of the crazy 50+ year old gamers i swear!

woohoo!!! i finished my skin by sorting out the team colours...

AND i've made two packages for this skin... one is a local file package (.upl & .utx) and the other is the server push files (.utx.uz2 and Mod.u.uz2)

i'm pretty pleased with the end result...

all i gotta do now is submit it... (gotta email a couple files around 1.6MB each, and can't by hotmail, hopefully my old email accounts from the previous house still magically work, lol)

edit: w00t, still got a lycos email with 5MB attachment ability... nice

edit3: thanks to help from people on this forum, i've used the Spectate Botmatch mutator and whacked all the graphics settings to max to get some incredible new screenies
