FHI v3 wont start

installed FHI from the zip file just as i did version 2. version2 worked and would start up when i clicked the batch file. version 3 comes up with the command window for a sec and then closes. FHI v3 simply wont start. no errors or anything else comes up. checked my application and system logs in event viewer with no errors or anything.
any ideas?
a few things,
i deleted the FHI folder directly from windows explorer.
the umod crashes ut2004.exe when i use it.
version2 installed without a hitch.
any help would be appreciated

Did you name the mod folder FHI2k4? If so, make sure you have done. Try launching the mod from the community menu and see what happens then too.
