Hey folks! The Felina Dark Pack is just about finished, but before I release it, I need an opinion.
Myself and probably a whole lot of others may have probably noticed that Felina floats a couple of inches above the ground. It's not really a gameplay killer, but it sure looks weird, and I've managed to fix it. The problem is that it will require a re-release of the .ukx file...
I've already tested it on my own machines, and having the new animation on one computer and the old animation on the other doesn't cause any major issues. Also, the animation file itself compresses really well, so it won't add much to the download time.
So, the opinion I need is whether I should release it with the Dark Pack as an optional, but included file, or if I should leave it as-is?
If anyone knows of any issues that I don't know about, please let me know before I do anything. Right now I'm leaning toward not releasing the new animation file to avoid potential compatibility and/or gameplay headaches.
Anyway, I present you with the Felina: Dark Pack.
The set will be released in two files: the basic set and the CTF4 set. The Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega variants are included in the basic set, while the Delta and Epsilon variants are in the CTF4 set. The CTF4 set requires that you have at least the CTF4 1.0.1.0 update, since it includes the separate pack functionality. Without it the CTF4 skins won't work with CTF4.
I mentioned I would include a 'neat trick' skin with the pack, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get the skin to look the way I wanted to. It was wasting a lot of time and I decided it was just time to release the new version.
I will upload and release the file to SaD once I get some opinions on the animation issue. Sorry it took so long. I don't like releasing anything untill I'm absolutely certain I haven't forgotten anything, and some of the wait was due to the testing I was doing on it.
Oh, one more thing. The character model isn't on the portraits in the game .
