Man, imagine if they had succeeded in diong that. I mean, the dropship didn't crater, there was no alien onboard. They did take off and BOOM.

And then Ripley had to go back for another hearing. And this time they'd force the bill down her troath. For both the Nostromo and the colony site.
It would be a spin-off prequel reboot of the aliens movie. They could just make a digital Ripley this time.

Aliens: payback time.

Yes.. yes... the title need some work. We need a bigger budget for that.
