Sorry for thread rez, but...
Surprised that E1 and Twig never posted this stuff...
So, ah... we discovered that Lawndarts stack very well.

Very, very well.

First tried standing on the Alcazar resupply and throwing them over the edge, and jumping to activate the resupply when I ran out. They were apparently going too far out and disappearing off the map or something. So then I stood on the edge and told Twig to supply me, and that worked out rather well until he decided to attach a tripmine to my back and told me to not move.
You can see Twig in #10. He was trying to jump onto it and run down, but that didn't work out too well. I believe I was screaming something about "RIDE THE SLIDE!!!" as he fell to his death.
Twig tried directly contributing to the tower too, but these things are really bloody hard to aim at that kind of range, so...

And, ah... here's a turret controller nobody will be wanting to use anytime soon.

(Did I mention that these things do a lot of damage? Once took down Fireball, as a Ranger, in two hits using them.)
And they're not without actual tactical/strategic value too.

Staking one down through a raptor's windshield will usually pin it in place and prevent the driver from getting out.
Don't really recall how well it works on the harbinger and jugg, though.
And someone who's been shot down and still writhing, not ready to respawn yet... If they're up against a wall, you can start staking them, and they'll be shoved upwards so the stake's no longer inside them. Push them up to a point, and then walk in to see what the inside of the model looks like.

No real use to it, but you can see where the Gunner keeps the enemy Gunner's head...
Also... they can go into the water just fine. Good for making bridges, though probably not capable of withstanding vehicles. And you can stick more stuff onto them. Mines, turrets, forcewalls... (Team color rainbows in the sky)... They also make funky ripple effects on the waters surface when they pass through.
And when there's a whole mess of them, it gets weird when you try to stand on them. Which makes for some interesting defensive possibilities for filling up an entrance with a whole mess of them and then hiding a bunch of mines in there for people to trip over while they're being bounced around.
Oh, and it doesn't matter who they belong to, you get a score for destroying them, resulting in some insane scoreboosting if you manage to pull off a landmine trick like that.
