Camos and 2D-leaves shouldnt be the only way to survive in the environment. Example:In Inf-Frozen the pipes should be letting off skin burning steam to your enemies when you shoot it and if u shoot an extinguisher it should let off a smoke to confuse your enemies,somthing like a smoke grenade. Blasting off lights in the night maps should make it darker and makes it harder to be seen. Its more realistic if the evironment can be used to be a way to survive.

That could cause a lot of problems online though. Check out the threads regarding "Smoke Spamming". Also, each of those "events" you mentioned would require a significant amount of time to model, and generate.

All these things are possible, but they take ages to do and eat up performance. Sorry, not feasible with this engine.

Well, the steam from pipes/fire extinguisher could be done easily. I should have think about it earlier :D

The dynamic light is a different issue. You can set up triggerable light in a map, but i've heard that it can really hurt the performence. The other solution would be using real dynamic lights (like when a gun fires) but since dynamic lights can be turn on/off from the menu, it wouldn't work :hmm:
