oh yeah, today we had the 1st chance to get the first euros. I ofcourse went to a bank after school to get some but they didnt had any left... though they said that they will have enough for everybody... they said i can go to "charlottenburg" which is another district of Berlin but unfortuanitly a 1 hour drive by underground(subway, metro).... so I am really feeling pissed about them...
enough euros for everybody!

plus the difference in size between the 1 € and 2 € is not as much as I expected, and while in daylight you can tell alright which is silver on the outside and gold in the center, and which is the other way round, in artificial light you got to take a second look, but maybe it's just because they're new & clean, and reflect the light so well....

they took euro cause its more logical i think, and cause you can speak it out better, euro or ecu, wich sounds best in most launguages you think ? right euro, in english too

cents, just like with your dollars, though there isn't any "official" sign or abbreviation for them yet. the sign for the euro is €, which should be on your keyboard somewhere, eventhough it may not be marked on the key... try RightAlt + E

I love our new £2 coins ( the silver and gold ones). The Welsh variant pound with the dragon on is my favorite british coin though.
i just bought a small sample thing with euros, they are cool 
and easy to learn imo, its not too hard, you go to the store,they say 5.20 euro pls, you search 5 euro and the cound the cents untill you reach 20, how hard can it be
