Since it's my first skin, I decided to try something simple. It's a skin for the Edge model made by Hide, and the skin is actually an edit of another skin made by epic. SaD suggested that I post up my pimps here (where they shoulda gone in the first place). Any way, first pimps of KinNiku!

Well, final's are up (whoop-dee frickin doo), so that means less time for skin. Just to give you an idea of how much longer, I'll show you guys how many scales I have to add. I'm about half done with the neck and chest by now, so I'll just give you guys a nice ass shot. Luckily, that grotesque...face-thing... on his back saves me a hell of a lot of time. So we're lookin at about two to three more weeks till completion (on a good day. Bad day.....eh).

Hope you guys didn't think I was dead, but finals are officially over. Time to get back into the hang of things. I've decided to work on the jaw a little because the chest was gettin to boring.

Kantham, if your talkin about Zoetic, I already got that one. If it's somethin else, by all means inform me please.

Thanks Kantham man, the compliments help. Just finished that damn jaw (took me about an hour!). Gonna work on the neck and work my way down. Looks like I might be done by next week after all :) . I'll try to put as much work as I can into finishing this up, I got another idea I want to work on after this. Here's the Jaw view. I think that it'll look better if I put a very light blend over the scales (either that, or put an extremly light shade over them). Tell me what you think might look better.

my favorite part is the helmet
in sommes part... this skin remind me the lizard in Zelda -Orcarina of time

maybe you could put a reflection efect on the eyes (nothing so compliquated)
you just need to learn shaders (just in case you don't know)

.....well , what version of photoshop you have?

i remember , i had this icon when i had 3.0 (now i got 7.0 .... MUCH better BTW)

I got photoshop version 5.5 . I don't know about the other ones, but this version gets the job done. Oh and, what's a shader? I've never even heard of them until now.

I put a tiny little bubble of gleam on there (very hard to see). Maybe when I'm done with all these God damn scales, I'll post up a request askin someone to help make some of the parts look shiny (I'd like the helmet and hands to be kinda mettalic lookin, but I really don't have any idea how to do that).

shaders are special file that have multiples texture option ,

you can get a masked texture whit opacity
get multiples panning texture to make a river texture
use them for transparent textures
use them to add TexEnv map texture , when aplying this to the skin , the helmet and the eye could be 'shiny'

i use them all the time , they are a good part of the unreal editor that must be used

I'm really sorry about that, I've been really busy over the last couple of months (school, outta country, adminning server). I'm going to get back to work on the skin as soon as I can. Sorry, didn't mean for this project to take so long!

Edit: Ok, Japanese project over, homework is steadily decreasing, I think that I can get back to that skin which has been on hold for... about 2-3 weeks. I'll post up a pimp ASAP.

Edit2: I found a tool that I just learned how to use today, called the "stamp tool". I'm kinda sad I never learned about this sooner! Skin should be released next weekend, if not sooner!

Ok, tired of Editing. All I need to do is fix the helmet, tone down the skin and I'll be finished. I just need help on makin that shiny-kind of texture for the helmet and hands.
I've read over Kantham's post numerous times, and I am just not understanding this. I was kinda hoping, anyone want to take over after I'm done with the other parts?

Edit: ok, here's a pic I got of the skin now. I redid the eyes so they look a little bit better in my opinion.
