all my sounds and music in UT is crap sounding and echos about 30 times.
im using winME, sounblaster, latest directx, latest UT patch.

help!

This has happened to me on a few occasions. The only way I've been able to fix it is to reinstall or (I think) delete my ini files so it reverts to default (though for some reason I don't think this works all the time).

well this did not work, it also happens in diablo 2 and some other games. i just reformatted and that didnt help, i also tried deleting my soundcard and rebooted.

YEpp a friend of mine had same problems, he was forced to change sound card. But i had some sound errors once and it all fixed when i desincreased the volume in winamp! Oug, no idea why but its worth a shot :D

well see i would decrease winamp volume, but as i said, i just reformatted my comp and winamp is not reinstalled yet.
