Yup! Lets get started early! :D

Not many yet, but first out is some text on the new rocket launcher... wich seems to be developed by Axon...

... next, is also from the rocket launcher. This time, Epic desided to add "Suck this!" on theyr rockets...
ut2k7_egg_rox.jpg

... last, is a little funny detail, since Epic sayd there are bringing back more from UT99 now... and surly, they aint lying! The classic Xan poster is allready back... ;)

... that was all I could find so far! Anyone find something else, please post! :)

Those aren't easter eggs.

Wikipedia says: "A virtual easter egg is a hidden message or feature in an object such as a movie, book, CD, DVD, or computer program"

None of those you mentioned are hidden. The nali's giving reacharounds on DM-Peak are. The deemer on CTF-November is too.

Depends on how you would define 'hidden'. If you defined it as (totally) visually hidden, meaning it would not be viewable at all unless some interaction occurs, well then by that definition you wouldn't be able to have easter eggs in movies, tv shows etc. Of course since these are screenshots, and thus still images as opposed to moving images, the 'easter eggs' are naturally easier to spot, but I do think they are easter eggs (the last 3) in the sense that most people wouldn't spot them at a first glance (at a normal resolution), plus those that are unaware wouldn't know what they are referencing to.

With that said I don't think the first one is an easter egg though as it's already well known that Axon manufactures the weapons. I'd attribute that to level of detail.

I dont fully agree with that definition...

I think an easter egg is something in a game or in a movie, wich in some way aint an aspect of the main plot...
A Linadri poster on a Linadri map, aint realy a easter egg. A Xan poster in a UT game aint realy no easter egg eighter, but the fact that it is pointing back to UT99, is!
A secret room in a game is not much of an egg, but a secret room showing all the developers eating baggles, is focusing completely out of the game, and therefore, is!

The "suck this" and "axon research" is more like a funfacts maybe... but since they are hard to spot, they are worth mentioning... ;)

Well you could say that the 'suck this' message references to some of the earlier weapon-related jokes, like the flak smiley face or the 'swallow this' on the 'deemer. It's vague I know, but it's there. ;)
